Maintenance Labor

LABORER  

MISSION

Looking for people who love working outdoors. Desire to learn correct procedures for all outdoor projects. Certification in specific areas in the winter months is a source for career advancement and pay increases.  

OVERVIEW

This position reports to the crew foremen. Should have interest in learning how to mulch, sod, plant trees and shrubs, build hardscape projects with pure muscle and desire at first til skills are advanced where can work independently. Knowledge of engines and tools are beneficial. Your driving record, as well as, drug tests are done randomly. You are required to keep all tools and equipment in good working order. Good work is measured by attendance and assisting foreman to keep jobs within budgeted numbers. All Laborers must have a reliable vehicle and proper work papers.  

COMPENSATION
Consistency, quality, and attendance are key indicators for pay increases. The first 60 days are considered a probationary period with a starting wage of $10.50 per hour, after 60 days you are paid $11.00 per hour..Company match 401k is available after your first year.   Pay increases beyond that are based on performance not tenure.  

LAWN OPERATOR 

MISSION

To provide a quality lawn application aimed at weed elimination and dark green color while being safe and efficient. The double overlap application method should be used at all times. Problem solving to keep our customers happy is a must. Desire for knowledge of turf and tree problems with solutions is a major source for career advancement.  

OVERVIEW

This position reports directly to the owner or operations manager. Must be able to spot issues within the lawn and make corrective treatments as needed. Small mechanical fixes in the field are required, as well as, minor maintenance items like oil changes to your equipment. Good work is measured by comparing product used to that which should have been used using a math equation and customer feedback without retreats. It is our expectation that jobs given for each day will be completed and within an 8 hour time frame unless otherwise stated. Each Lawn Operator is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of his or her equipment, which includes your vehicle. A clean, organized truck is a happy boss! DMV and random drug testing are required prior to anyone being offered a position.  

COMPENSATION
Efficiency of work and up selling necessary services are 2 major sources of additional compensation. Consistency, quality, and attendance are key indicators for pay increases. The first 60 days are considered a training period with a starting wage of $12.00 per hour, after 60 days you are paid $14.00 per hour. Company match 401k is available after your first year. Pay increases beyond that are based on performance not tenure. All Lawn Operators must pass the general standards test given by the Department of Agriculture.
